Lois Ann Carver 80, of Roanoke Rapids died Wednesday July 17, 2013.
Lois a native of Roanoke Rapids was the daughter of the late Alonzo Bascom and Lula Kidd Carver.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Allen Page Carver. Lois was a life- long member of Rosemary Baptist Church and was retired from sprint after 42 years of service.
Lois is survived by her sister Cecelia Carver of Roanoke Rapids; her brothers Ralph Carver and his wife Willa of Roanoke Rapids, and Carl Dane Carver and his wife Jackie of Chesapeake, Va. Her aunt, Ruby Carver of Roanoke Rapids; her three nieces Elizabeth C. Daniel and her husband Charley of Roanoke Rapids; Julie C. Hutchins and her husband Paul and Michelle C. Garrett and her husband Paul all of Chesapeake, Va.
Funeral Service will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
The Family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 at the Funeral Home.
