Judy Ann Lowe, age 58 of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC.
Judy was born in Halifax County September 13, 1955, the daughter of the late Charlie Odom Sr. and Hilda Hammack Odom. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Jesse Boone Lowe.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Lowe and his wife Mary of Gaston, NC, her daughter, Laura Lowe of Roanoke Rapids, her step son, Jesse Lowe Jr. and his wife Marie of Gaston, her step daughter, Bobbie Lowe of Roanoke Rapids. Six grandchildren, Stephen Lowe Jr., Daisy Lowe, Christian Pittman, Abbie Pittman, Timothy Brooks and Katherine Brooks. She is also survived by her siblings, Charlie Odom and his wife Brenda of Rocky Mount, Kenny Odom and his wife Kathy of Norfolk, VA, Henry Odom and his wife Belinda of Roanoke Rapids and Brenda Tanner of Roanoke Rapids.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Good Samaritan Baptist Fellowship with Dr. Dennis Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square, NC.
The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, Wednesday from 7:00 until 8:30 PM and other times at the home of her son Stephen, 226 School Street, Gaston, NC.
