Linda Lane Lewis 72, of Roanoke Rapids, died Tuesday May 3, 2016.
Linda, a native of Halifax County, was the daughter of the late, Godwin Thomas and Elma Smith Lane.
Linda was a hair dresser for forty years.
She is survived by her husband George, two step sons, William Lewis of Montgomery, Ricky Lewis and his wife, Pat of Wales, Maine; her brother Al Lane and his wife, Gail of Roanoke Rapids; two nephews Robbie Lane and his wife, Tammy of Raleigh and Ryan Lane and his wife Jane of Monterey, CA; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren; a great niece and nephew.
A graveside service will be held Sunday May 8, 2016 at 2 P.M. in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday May 7, 2016 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids.
