Glenore Long Powers, 77, of Gaston, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014.

She was born in Halifax County to the late Eugene Nicholas and Bessie Martin Long.

Glenore was preceded in death by her husband, L.H. Powers, her son, Ronnie Wayne Martin, her sister, Maggie Walls, her brothers, Jamie Long, Johnny Ray Long, and Richard Long.

She is survived by her sons, Tot Powers and his wife, Kay of Roanoke Rapids, Jimmy Powers and his wife Vickie of Gaston, and William Patrick and his wife Lynn of Montpelier, Ohio; her brother, Charlie Long and his wife, Bernie Mae of Roanoke Rapids; a special friend, Mary Harris of Roanoke Rapids; 10 grandchildren, Jessie Medlin and his wife, Tracy, Timmy Ott and his wife, Jen, Christi Brantley and her husband, Brian, Heather Hux and her husband, Tony, Courtney Hammack and her husband, Jeremy, Lee Powers and his wife, Brooke, Brent Powers and Whitney Hagen, Alyssa Grant, Megan Edmondson, Erin Gilcher and her husband, Ryan; and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Henry Stephens officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services and other times at 407 Huey Street, Gaston, NC.

A special thank you is extended by the family to Jen Qualls at Halifax Regional Medical Center and to her niece Maggie Walls for her love and care.

Phyllis Lee Jenkins

Phyllis Lee Jenkins, 83, passed away, Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Jenkins was born September 28, 1931 in Halifax County to the late Matthew Ransom Kilpatrick, Sr. and Edith Switzer Kilpatrick.  

She loved to cook and was an avid Nascar Racing fan.  She also loved all animals.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Murril S. Jenkins, Sr. and her grandchildren, Chad and Dana Jenkins, and Christopher Cottam.

She is survived by her son, Kenny Jenkins and wife, Vickie; daughters, Debbie Cottam, Penny McCracken, Julie Plavec and husband, George; grandchildren, Matt Jenkins, Ken Akers, Jerome, Ransom and Kristen Cottam, Trip McCracken and Olivia Donovan; great-grandchildren, Katlyn and Charlie Jenkins, and Maggie Akers.  Also surviving are special nieces, Sharon Frazier, Terry Dickens, and Patsy Harrell; nephew, Mike Wiley and wife, Jenny; beloved cousin, Bo Kilpatrick and Carol and many more beloved nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested making memorial contributions to one’s local SPCA and/or local animal shelter.  

The family will have a private service at a later date.  They ask for your prayers in the coming days during their time of sadness.

Elizabeth Ann “Lizzie” Cieslinski

Elizabeth Ann “Lizzie” Cieslinski, 35, died Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Halifax Regional Health Center.

Lizzie was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, July 20, 1979, to Richard Warren Cox, Sr. and Sandra Wheeler Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her dad, Carlton Jenkins; paternal grandmother, Sallie Jenkins and maternal grandfather, Crawford Harrup.

Surviving are her son, Jacob Walker of Roanoke Rapids; daughters, Grayson Walker of Roanoke Rapids and Carah Cieslinski of Henrico; boyfriend, Billy Bolton of Conway; mother, Sandra Wheeler Lockhart and husband, Patrick, of Littleton; father, Richard Warren Cox, Sr. of Lonoke, Arkansas; brother, Richard Wesley Jenkins of San Jose, CA; sisters, Shannon Letters of Roanoke Rapids, April Cox of Lonoke, Arkansas; step-sister Mya Lockhart; maternal grandmother, Marie Harrup of Emporia; uncle, Marvin “Unc” Wheeler; nieces, Lauren Blackmon, Karrington Blackmon, Amaya Jenkins and nephew, Spencer Letters.

Rev. Stan Lewis will conduct a memorial service to celebrate Lizzie’s life, Monday, October 6, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Weaver’s Chapel United Methodist Church.  The family will gather with friends during a meal immediately after the service at the church.  All other times, the family is receiving friends at the home of Shannon Letters which is located at 346 Rapids St. Roanoke Rapids.

Pauline Nancy Bunch, age 91 a long time resident of Carolina Rest Home passed away on October 3, 2014 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Pauline was born on February 28, 1923 in Halifax County North Carolina. She was preceded in death by a sister Francis Bunch. 

Survivors include many friends and her family, the staff at Carolina Rest Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, NC with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will be  private in Scotland Neck, NC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Deborah Ward Le, 59, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Rocky Mount, NC.

Deborah was born in Baltimore, MD, March 18, 1955, to Fred G. Ward and Frances Bryant Ward.  She was a loving mom and “nanny”, and an avid sports fan who loved Nascar , the Denver Broncos and Coca-Cola.  She especially loved her kitty cat, Kallie.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Alfred “Scott” Ward.  

Surviving are her parents, Fred G. and Frances Ward; special friend, Michael Jackson; daughters, Carrie B. Le and fiancé, Michael Bost, and Jenifer Capps and husband, Jason; brother, Steven Ward and special friend, Doris Reid.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, Dylan Powers, Charisma Johnston, Ivy Pittman, and Alex Capps.  

Rev. Tom Swartz will conduct a memorial service to celebrate Deborah’s life Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 3:00 pm at Smith United Methodist Church.

Nellie Irene Harris died October 6, 2014 after several years of declining health.

She was born March 20, 1925 to the late John Henry and Nellie Irene Boseman Harris.

She was also preceded in death by her son: Paul McKelvy Harris; her brothers: Nathan Boseman Harris, Marvin Caswell Harris, John Henry Harris, Jr. and William Edward Harris.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Thelma Marie Jarratt Green

Thelma Marie Jarratt Green of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully at her home on October 7, 2014.

She is survived by her loving husband Arnold Blake Green; son Steven Lassiter Green and his  partner Charles Christopher Hockaday of Roanoke Rapids; and son Jeffrey Blake Green (wife Carol Anne McGee): grandsons Aaron Blake Green and Benjamin Sterling Green; granddaughter Natalie Michele Green all of Wilmington. Brother Albert Randolph “Buddy” Jarratt; Virginia Louise Wells; Alfred Leroy Jarratt (wife Loretta); Becky Jarratt Newsome (husband Dennis); all of Emporia Va.; Nell Marie Jarratt Spence, aunt; Sister-in-law Bonnie Green Morrisette of Greensboro; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; neighbors and many friends.

Marie was born on October 24, 1944 in Emporia Va. to Adele Gurganus  Jarratt and Roy Lee Jarratt who predeceased her; Eunice Jarratt sister; Tony Jarratt, nephew; Teresa Jarratt, niece, also predeceased her.

Marie was known as the “den mother of Darlington” when she and her husband   owned Cash and Carry Country Store.

It was the bus stop for many of the neighborhood children.  She was loved by all who knew her, especially her husband, her sons, and her entire family and friends.  

She always greeted everyone with a smile and loved sharing her famous peanut butter fudge, chess tarts, and chocolate meringue pies.  Prior to moving to Wilmington on any Saturday she and Blake were at the Farmers Market in Roanoke Rapids selling their pies and produce where they saw old friends and met new ones.

For the past several years, Marie has met many new friends and reconnected with old friends through Facebook sharing many inspirational messages.

The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home, 4108 South College Rd., Wilmington on Friday October 10th , 2014 from 1:00- 2:00.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 on Friday at Green Lawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington NC with Rev. Roger Harding officiating. 

On Sunday Oct. 12th, a memorial service will be held at Hockaday Funeral Home, 507 US Hwy 158, Roanoke Rapids at 2:00, conducted by the Rev. Roger Harding. Family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Our special thanks go to Wilmington Health Associates for the excellent care Marie received from them.  Our thanks also go to our families, neighbors at Glenmeade and friends for all their support and love these past few years.

Ralph Eugene Arnold, 78, of Henrico, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014.

He was born in Roanoke, VA to the late William Porter and Mary Arnona Hayes Arnold.

Ralph was retired from the US Navy as a Senior Chief.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary McFall Arnold; his sons, William Diamond and his wife, Valerie of Henrico, Ralph Arnold, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL; his daughters, Danielle Leckie of Scotland, Donna A. Thibodeau and Tracy A. Jette’, both of St. Petersburg, FL; his brother, Eddie Arnold and his wife, Linda of Chesapeake, VA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Rick Gaskins officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Halifax County Home, Health, and Hospice at 220 Smith Church Road, Bldg. C, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.

John Edward 'J.E.' Edwards

John Edward “J.E.” Evans, Jr., 85, went to his homecoming with the Lord, Friday, October 10, 2014 at his home along the Roanoke River surrounded by his loved ones.

J.E. was born December 8, 1928 in Halifax County to the late John Evans, Sr. and Annie Burnette Evans.  

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and good friend to many.  

He was a lifetime member of Weldon United Methodist Church.

He owned and operated Evans’ Gulf Station for over 20 years, and then worked for Pierce’s Trailer Sales as parts manager until his retirement.

J.E. loved the Roanoke River, “the sugar shack,” and rockfishing. He considered himself a river rat.  He also loved spending time with his family, and in his later years he enjoyed going to yard sales.  He also loved the Hardee’s Breakfast Group.  J.E. had a “master’s degree in wisdom.”

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Estelle Evans; his sisters, Ruth Ridley, Edith Nettles, and Louise Hatchell;  his brother, Murray Alvin “Buddy” Evans; his nephews Roger T. Hatchell; and George “Jiggs” Hatchell.

J.E. is survived by his son John E. “Johnny” Evans and wife Beth of Roanoke Rapids; his daughter Bobbi Sue Evans Butler of Gaston; his grandchildren Evan Butler; Hart Evans; and Grace Evans.  His nieces and nephews, Major Hatchell and wife Corrye of Henrico; Mary Catherine Brantley of Roanoke Rapids; George Edward Evans of Bradenton, Fl.; Lois Parker of Jeffersonville, In.; Ruth Ann Ridley of Chesterfield, Va.; Gene Ridley, Jr. of Garner, NC; Susan Keyes of Newport News, Va.; and several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.  Also surviving are special friends, Amanda and Dale Haislip and children Meagan and Colby; Rives Taylor; Millie and Steve Taylor; Blackie Pierce; and Jean Rook.

Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Weldon United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. Sue Owens officiating.  Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon.  

The family will receive friends Monday, October 13, 2014 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and all other times at Mr. Evans’ home and at the home of his son Johnny.

Shelby Jean Outlaw Terry age 77, of Aulander, NC passed away on October 11, 2014 at the Ahoskie House in Ahoskie, NC.

Shelby was born on November 16, 1936 in Hertford County North Carolina the daughter of the late Vera Rayford Outlaw and Willie Leon Outlaw.

She was also preceded in death by one sister Dorothy Robinson and one brother-in-law Paul “Boogie” Robinson. She was a very devoted volunteer and charter member of the Millennium Civic Club.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years Mark “Tomcat” Terry of Aulander, NC; Her son Steve Terry and wife Jennifer of Kelford, NC; Her three grandchildren Martin Terry of Winton, NC, Aaron Clark of Kelford, NC and Nathan Clark of Conway, NC; Her two nephews Richard “Dickie” Robinson and his wife Gloria of Lewiston, NC and Ronnie Robinson of Arizona, also many loving family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Taylor Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Job Cemetery in Aulander, NC.

The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, NC Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM and other times at the home.

Beatrice Irene Eure Little

Beatrice Irene Eure Little, age 86 passed away October 15, 2014 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

Beatrice was born December 31, 1927 in Halifax County North Carolina the daughter of the late Lemuel Otha Eure and Cherry Louise Wyatt Eure.

She was also preceded in death by her two husbands William Norman Edwards, James Emery Little, Sr., five siblings and one son William Otha “Butch” Edwards.

Survivors include her two daughters; Phyllis Goddard of Greensboro, NC and Connie Bridgers (Johnny) of Conway, NC; Her three sons, James Little, Jr. of Gasburg, VA, Mickey Little (Melonie) of Emerald Isle, NC and Timmy Little of Gumberry, NC; Her thirteen grandchildren, Richard, Robert and Thomas Goddard, Tammy, Wendy and Bill Edwards, Crystal Gayle, Jamie Little, Ben Bridgers, Marsha and George Little, Amanda and Timmy Little, Jr. Also many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Beatrice Irene Eure Little will be held, Sunday October 19, 2014 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. at Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids, NC. Burial will be held private.

Peggy Smith Canady

Peggy Smith Canady, a long-time resident of Rocky Mount and later Roanoke Rapids, passed away Wednesday, October 15th at Autumn Care in Nashville, North Carolina.  She is predeceased by her husband Wayne C. Canady, and her Parents Robert J. and Mary Francis Smith.     

Peggy was born in Dillon County, South Carolina, where she was the salutatorian of her graduating class at Lake View High School.  After high school, she attended Coker College in Hartsville, South Carolina, on a full academic scholarship where she graduated with honors and was once again the class salutatorian.   

After college graduation, Peggy went directly to work with the Social Security Administration in Birmingham, Alabama.  She started in claims and quickly advanced into management positions in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina, and eventually ending her career in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Peggy was woman of faith and was extremely active in First Baptist Church, in Rocky Mount, where she served in various volunteer positions.  Her favorite activity in the church was serving as a Sunday school teacher for many years where she touched many lives.  She also cherished her time with her immediate and extended family.   

She is survived by her son, Christopher Canady, daughter-in-law Katherine Canady, granddaughter Katherine Slade Canady and granddogs Scarlett and Rhett Canady all of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.  Brothers are Robert T. Smith and Faye (predeceased), of Lake View, South Carolina; Larry J. and Barbara Smith, of Ninety –Six, South Carolina; Danny K. and Sharon Smith of Irmo, South Carolina; Fonnie and Amanda Smith of Florence, South Carolina.  Sisters are Ann S. Spivey and Tom (predeceased), of Lake View, South Carolina; and Linda S. Sanderson and Billy of Lake View, South Carolina.  She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests at the Canady family home in Roanoke Rapids, on Friday October 17, from 5:30PM – 7:00PM.  Saturday there will be a visitation at First Baptist Church in Rocky Mount from 9:30AM – 10:30AM.  The celebration of life will begin at 11:00AM in the sanctuary.  The graveside ceremony will take place at approximately 3:00PM at Lafayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Beatrice Hardee, 86, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.  

Mrs. Hardee was born June 17, 1928 in Halifax County to the late Kenneth and Edna Harris Faithful.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Mason Hardee.  

Mrs. Hardee is survived by her sons Tracy Hardee and wife Andrea; and Steve Hardee all of Halifax; her grandchildren Autumn and Joseph Hardee.  

Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Matt Reider officiating.

John Leslie Hedgepeth

John Leslie Hedgepeth, 94, of Halifax, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014.

He was the oldest of 11 children, born in Warren County to the late Isaac Levi and Dora Elaine Warren Hedgepeth.

John served his country in the US Army and was a World War II Veteran.  Before beginning active duty in the US Army, John served in the Civil Conservation Corp.  While there, he worked on the construction of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Rouse Hedgepeth; his sisters, Beulah Dickens, Lois Hux; and his brothers, Rupert, Lathan, Roger, and Ray Hedgepeth.  

He is survived by his sisters, Dorothy H. Matthews of Halifax, Lillian H. Ball of Mechanicsville, VA, and Peggy H. Bishop and her husband, Ed of Bahama, NC; his brother, Mike Hedgepeth and his wife, Starlette of Halifax; many cousins, nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:30 pm at Community Center Baptist Church in Halifax with Dr. W. Jim Whitehead officiating.

Interment will follow at the Hedgepeth Family Cemetery with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 1:30 until service time at Community Center Baptist Church and at other times at the family home at 1228 Mill Creek Road, Halifax, NC.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Center Baptist Church, 2360 Ridgecrest Road, Halifax, NC, 27839.

Darrell Henry Hite, 59, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.  

Darrell was born May 13, 1955 in Moorehead, Kentucky.

 He worked 23 years at Becker Village Mall, he loved to travel and loved Nascar.  

He owned and operated Hite’s Cleaning Service.  

Darrell is preceded in death by his parents Carl Hite and Beulah Brown Hite.  

He is survived by his wife Melinda Hite of the home; his mother-in-law June Willey; his niece Ann Marie Lassiter and husband Brad of Wilmington; his brother-in-law David Willey and wife Leah of Roanoke Rapids.  

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cedarwood Cemetery in Weldon, with Rev. Rick Gaskins officiating.  

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the service at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service and all other times at the home.

George Thomas Walker, 59, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away from injuries  sustained in a car accident on October 17, 2014. .        

Mr. Walker was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, on October 17, 1955.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Walker, Sr. and Helen Dickens Rhea.

He is survived by a son, Lucas Cornell, and a granddaughter, Laney Cornell; a sister, Sherry Lynn Porter, of Albany, Georgia, and two brothers, Ronald Walker and John Walker, of Richmond, Virginia.

Raymond “Ray” William Woodruff, Jr. passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Woodruff was born on May 6, 1957, in Halifax County, to the late Raymond William Woodruff , Sr. and Annie Mae Woodruff. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Mike Woodruff. 

He is survived by his daughter, Anna Rae Woodruff; of Roanoke Rapids, his sisters, Rosa W. Cooke and husband, Berry of Yorktown, Virginia, and Carolyn W. Allen and husband, Wayne of Littleton, N. C.; nephews, Eddie Cooke and wife, Pam, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Derick Cooke of Yorktown, Virginia; his niece: Crystal A. Ward, and husband, Matt, and two great-nieces: Ava Ward and Kate Ward, all of Anderson, South Carolina,, and many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 22, at 11 A. M. conducted by Rev. Randy Martin. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 P.m. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service which is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Building 

Fund, 1405 Bolling Road, Roanoke Rapids, N. C. 27870.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Halifax Regional Medical Center Trauma Center, Intensive Care Unit and 5th floor for their services and caring ways.

Mrs. Evelyn Allen Stephenson age 75, of Jackson, NC passed away Monday, October 20, 2014.

Mrs. Stephenson was born January 23, 1939 in Emporia, VA, the daughter of the late George W. Allen and Lillie Rose Grizzard Allen.  She was also predeceased by her son, Jon Christopher Stephenson, a brother, Earl Dean Allen and a sister, Cornelia Ann Allen.  She was a faithful member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Stephenson. Hert sons, Joey Stephenson and his wife Carla of Seaboard, NC, Jeff Stephenson of White Lake, NC and James Stephenson and his wife Brooke of Jackson, NC.  Three grandchildren, Carly Ellen Stephenson, Jon Fredrick Stephenson and Jenna Claire Stephenson.  Three sisters, Shirley Everette of Emporia, VA, Georgia Rose Stainback of Franklin, VA and Jean Wright of White Plains, VA.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Seaboard Cemetery in Seaboard, NC with Rev. Keith Thomason and Rev. Craig Janney officiating.

The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, NC, Tuesday from 7:00 until 8:30 PM.

Lovell 'Bell' Stansbury Gray

Lovell “Bell” Stansbury Gray, 98, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Hampton Manor in Gaston.  

Mrs. Gray was born September 29, 1916 in Halifax County to the late James Lee and Etta Smith Stansbury.  

In her childhood years she was a member of Weaver’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Littleton.  She later became a charter member of Lakeview Park Baptist Church and held the title of being the church’s oldest member.  

Mrs. Gray retired from J.P. Stevens in 1979 after nearly 40 years of dedicated service.  After her retirement she enjoyed traveling and took numerous bus trips. Mrs. Gray was also a member of the Progressive Seniors. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Clarence Jackson Gray; her son Gene Jackson Gray; her son-in-law Howard Keeter:  her brothers Willis, Horace, and Alvin Stansbury; her sisters Betty Mae Lynch, Polly Wilson, Mary Rue Bell; as well as a number of brothers and sisters-in-law and a several nieces and nephews.  She is also preceded in death by a special friend Tommy Lynch.

She is survived by her daughter Marie G. Keeter; her grandchildren Cheryl Keeter Dixon and husband Edmond; Ken Keeter and wife Tere Su`; Tammy Keeter Lee and husband Randy; and Wayne Gray and wife Delores; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Mrs. Gray is also survived by her brother Roy J. Stansbury; and her sisters Bessie S. Bennett; and Katherine S. Faison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat and Pastor Billy Hardwick officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service and all other times at the home of her daughter, Marie Keeter.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Hampton Manor for all their care and compassion.
